Prepare your body for the high-octane experience that is OTXO (pronounced oh-cho). Enter this incredibly brutal world filled with fast-paced and gory action, where even the smallest slip up could result in a game over. Top down combat with a surreal story that has you gunning down everyone you encounter, it’s the perfect challenge for anyone who loves this genre. With a unique perspective and some stunning art design, you will absolutely adore this game and get a real kick out of its intensity. I know I did. Gameplay

The gameplay to this title is utterly spectacular, and it shares some real similarities to a few classics. One being Grand Theft Auto, as in the original, and the other is Hotline Miami. You will immediately see where the inspiration comes in from both games and you will absolutely love it. OTXO offers some really brilliant fast paced combat that will have you on the edge of your seat for the entirety of your gaming session. You control the movements with the W, A, S, and D keys and you use the mouse to point and shoot. Its nice and simple.

With a massive selection of guns, over 100 abilities and the amazing ability to focus and dodge bullets, you will be able to run around, kick doors in, shoot three guys, throw the gun at the last and then eviscerate him with some other ungodly technique. This game really pulls no punches and neither do you.

The slow time feature is one of the coolest I’ve seen, and it makes you feel powerful and in control, but it does not make you infallible. You need to remain adaptable and on your toes if you expect to make it out of this.

Visuals

The visual style of this game is very interesting. It has this unique black and white color palette, but blood and a few key visual elements are still in a deep red and it adds a lot to the games visuals. The mansion that the game is set in is vast and has a great many floors and rooms that all have unique layouts, making each section of the game feel unique despite the gameplay carrying on seamlessly. Over 150 handcrafted rooms means that no two runs will ever be the same, as you face a random selection each time.

Story

The story to this follows a featureless, unnamed man who knows only one thing, he has to find…her. That’s right, we are all on board when killing for love so this John Wick-esque game will have you slaughtering in the hundreds to reach your beloved.

There are more secrets to this mansion that will surprise you, but you have to play the game to find out what they are. And thanks to the style of game, you’ll have to play it a few times to make sure you get it all.
