Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale is a unique blend of store simulator and role-playing game developed by Japanese studio EasyGameStation and released for PC. The plot begins when a young girl named Recette Lemongrass finds herself forced to run a store in order to pay off her father's debt. She is helped by a fairy named Tear, who represents the creditors. Together they try to turn the small store into a successful enterprise by completing daily tasks.
