The Black Death is a multiplayer survival role-playing game developed by Green Man Gaming. The game is set in Europe during the Black Death (plague pandemic in the 14th century), and players must survive in a cruel and dangerous world full of disease, violence and famine. The plot is set in a medieval Europe plagued by a plague epidemic. Players take on the roles of various characters such as merchants, peasants, mercenaries and monks who are trying to survive amidst the chaos and devastation. The game features elements of historical accuracy, and players face the aftermath of the epidemic, including fear, betrayal, and competition for resources.
