Wytchwood

Set in one of the most charming fantasy type worlds I have seen in quite some time Wytchwood is a fun RPG that has a major emphasis on crafting items. Without a doubt, the thing that is going to draw you into this game is the same that that grabbed my attention! I am talking about those absolutely gorgeous graphics that make the game look like a work of art. Seriously, if this game actually gets fully released in 2021, I think it will probably make my list of best-looking games of the year.

The Witch Of The Woods

From what I have seen so far of Wytchwood, the story is very well written. We play as a witch of the woods who is going around looking for items so that she can make all of the potions she needs to. She wants to “help” the creatures of the forest, but the way she goes about this can depend on what you do.

I think that people are going to be very surprised at how quirky the story here is. The stuff I have seen so far showcases some great writing with a fun sense of humor and a bunch of very interesting creatures that make up the cast of this game.

Turning The Page

As I said in the intro, Wytchwood is a truly great looking game. It has been made so that it looks like a book of fables that has come to life and they certainly achieved what they were going for here. When a dialogue scene happens, we get these nice big portrait pictures of the characters. Speaking of the characters, there is a ton of variety to the creatures that make up the world in this game and they are all designed very well. The woods that make up the game world have a ton of variety to them as well, the whole game is just so very imaginative that you want to explore every nook and cranny that each area has to offer.

Whipping Up A Witches Brew!

The idea of the gameplay in Wytchwood is that you explore the woods and talk to the various creatures of the forest. You will get various missions to do and most of these are in the form of puzzles that you have to complete. You need to find a whole bunch of items so that you can make your potions.

Those who are big into crafting in their games are going to get a real kick out of this. Exploring and finding items is what this is really all about and showing the other inhabitants of this forest why you are the witch of the woods!

• This witch is one cool customer!
• I love the way the game looks like a storybook
• If you enjoy crafting you will get a kick out of having to find and mix items
• The gameplay is very puzzle based

Cons:

• The crafting aspect of the game might not be everyone’s cup of tea
• They still have not hinted at what the release date is actually going to be
