House Flipper City is the latest game to let you become a property developer. I had a great time with the original release of this and now we have a brand new game that is taking things to a whole new level. As of me writing this, there is a free demo that gives you a good idea of what this game is all about. If you like this kind of thing then I am 100 percent certain that this is a game you are going to have a great deal of fun with and probably find pretty addictive too!

The Property King

The idea of House Flipper City is that you look around the city and purchase run down properties. You then need to make it so you can sell or rent these properties. You may be tempted to flip every apartment or block of apartments that you buy. However, the real key here is having a steady stream of income. By all means, flip the ones that will gain you a big cash boost. Yet, make sure you have some great rental properties too so that money is flowing in each month.

A huge part of the fun and addiction of a game like House Flipper City is the actual designing of the properties. You can look around the city at the places for sale, some properties are really run down and will cost you less, but they will perhaps cost you more in clean up and design. You need to first of all clean the apartments and then you get to redesign them and decorate them. It can be tempting to go fancy, but you have to work within your budget. Also, you have to be smart and think about what people in that area can afford and will be willing to pay.

The Right Tennant For The Right Property

While House Flipper City has flipper in the name, as I said before, flipping is not the only way to make money in this game. You can make a quick buck if you buy a property that is very cheap, fix it up and then flip it.

But you can also rent and when you have properties for rent, you get to choose the kind of tenants you want to rent the place. This is pretty fun to do as you get to look at the profile of each tenant and try to figure out which one is going to give you the least amount of hassle.

Things are looking great for House Flipper City. For me, this is the next step that this series needed to take. I love the idea of buying a whole building to turn into a money making rental machine. However, it is also fun to grab a bargain of an apartment, do the basics to fix it and get it presentable and make a fat profit on it when you sell it. If you played House Flipper or one of the other similar games of that style, you really do need to at the very least try out the demo that is on offer here.

Pros:

I love the idea of having a whole city to buy apartments in
You can rent and sell the properties you renovate
Dealing with tenants is pretty fun
The whole renovating aspect of the game is very addictive

Cons:

This currently only has a demo and there is no proper release date announced yet
Sometimes it can be hard to make enough money to do what you really want with your properties
