One Piece: Round the Land

Meet the Japanese classic, an adaptation of the famous anime by a fun game with fighting elements - One Piece: Round the Land is a three-dimensional side-scrolling action game by beloved Bandai.

Gameplay

The player chooses one of several available characters and runs from left to right through various challenges. The player uses special skills and combos that help pass enemies faster. I know that fans of the original anime know these names - Buggy and Eneru. In the game, each and every villain controls a certain area that must be overcome. You have to beat the villains and they are not pawns at all, they are hard to defeat. Each area that is controlled by a villain is filled with his henchmen and special traps. The player's mission is to make it to the end of the round and in doing so collect all the coins. As a rule, through the whole round the main character will have to drag a heavy chest. While moving with the chest it is impossible to fight, but at one point you can throw this box right in the face of the enemy. The character is able to jump high, move forward or backward in the location, punch and kick, pick up and throw objects. Enemies armed with various weapons attack the main character. Bandits carry blades, arrows, axes and knives. Opponents can throw their weapons, which is a big problem for the gamer. What I want to note is the variety of locations, look even at the names:

Each map has a unique design. Somewhere it's multi-level, multi-story platforms inside a labyrinth with moving mechanisms ready to throw a character into the abyss - at the end of the round a glowing exit that beckons players like an oasis beckons a stranded traveler in the desert. Somewhere the player just runs in a straight line and the road collapses behind him, you have to jump a lot and think fast.

If the character performed well in the previous round, he is credited with bonus powers. These powers are used at the end of the race when the player challenges the boss. The boss has many lives and must activate super skills in order to defeat it. The player becomes invulnerable, fast, and the character acquires powerful attacks while the power mode is activated. However, the enemies are also not promiscuous, artificial intelligence allows them to dodge and simultaneously take away the health of the player.
