Paparazzi Simulator

What an awesome idea for a game Paparazzi Simulator is! I have played a few different games where you play as some kind of photographer, but this one is taking it to the next level. I am not a fan of the paparazzi at all, I think what they do is kind of brutal, to be honest with you. However, we live in a society that demands to know all the ins and outs of a celebrity’s life so I get why they are around. In this game, you play as the ultimate paparazzi who is willing to do anything to do anything to get the perfect shot.

Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous

The point of the game is that you want to work your way up to become the ultimate paparazzi. Paparazzi Simulator has you starting out rather small, but you ultimately want to build up your reputation, skills, and equipment…. Not to mention bank balance! So, you are regarded as the best paparazzi that is lurking in the streets of tinsel town. It is pretty cool stuff and I kind of like playing as a rather shady kind of character.

Lurking Around Every Corner!

The gameplay of Paparazzi Simulator is very interesting and I would say that it has more in common with a stealth game than anything else. There are celebrities all over the place and you will have to try and catch them in the perfect shot. From catching them cheating on their spouse, partaking in some stuff they should not, or just getting wild. You need to sneak around and try and get into various places. You can use your charms, break in, bribe, and more. It is up to you how you go about getting the pictures and this is going to add a great deal to the gameplay.

Blackmail! Someone Has To Do It

Of course, making money is a huge part of Paparazzi Simulator, and the way you do this is up to you. You can take on jobs where people want you to catch a celebrity at a certain spot doing something. You can sell your stuff to the highest bidder, or you can be really shady and try and blackmail a celebrity so that you give them the compromising pictures instead. You will be surprised at just how much depth there is to this game. I would probably say the way you can go about “missions” in any way you want actually makes the game quite similar to the Hitman series.

Sleaze Town!

The presentation of Paparazzi Simulator is pretty solid too. It has that LA type look to it all and there are many different locations that you will be going to in order to snap the ultimate picture of the celebrities that call this place home. We are talking about places like the club, hotels, seedy bars, a fancy hotel, and even their own home! This city has a ton of places where celebrities like to hang out and I think that they have done a good job of making the city feel alive, even if character models do repeat a bit more often than I would like.

Pros:

• You get to play as a rather ruthless paparazzi!
• I like the city that the game takes place in
• You are free to try and get the photo any way you see fit
• Each “mission” provides a unique challenge

Cons:

• I am not sure what the overarching story will be
• Some of the character models of the NPCs repeat too often
