Aerial_Knight's Never Yield

I do not think there is a cooler game to be released this year than Aerial_Knight's Never Yield! This game is hip, awesome, stylish, and the kind of thing that just effortlessly oozes coolness. This is a platformer that feels like an endless runner and it is challenging in a way that will make you want to keep on playing to get better and better until you make it all the way to the end of the game.

Who’s Wally?

The story of the game is cool. You play as a character called Wally and this guy had something that was taken from him. He managed to get this back, but the story of Aerial_Knight's Never Yield has him on the run trying to get away. All the while uncovering a conspiracy that is going on in his city.

Run Wally Run!

If I had to put the game into just one category it would certainly have to be that of an endless runner. You are always running to the right and you can slide, jump and dash to avoid enemies, obstacles and make jumps. There is a free demo that I highly recommend you check out.

Anyway, Wally controls like a dream and you can put together some pretty epic parkour-style moves as you make use of his abilities. It is the kind of game that manages to be fun and challenging. The game is designed with you getting through it in one sitting, you are looking at about 90 minutes to beat the game. It is clearly made with people who love to speed run games in mind.

The Hip To The Hop

One of the most awesome features of Aerial_Knight's Never Yield is the soundtrack. The soundtrack is done by Detroit hip-hop artist Danime-Sama and he has made some truly epic beats for this game and then managed to get some of the coolest people to rap over them. Seriously, this has to be in running for the best soundtrack of 2021.

As well as sounding great, this game has a really cool style that I just adore. In some ways, it reminds me of a more stylized/comic book Mirrors Edge with the kind of futuristic look this city has. There is a great use of color and it just vibes with the soundtrack so well that you get into a real groove as you are trying to make it to the end.
