Estate Agent Simulator

Estate Agent Simulator allows players to live out their dreams of buying, selling, and renting properties. As the name suggests, you step into the shoes of a real estate agent looking to make their mark in the world of property dealing. After playing it for more hours than I'm willing to admit, I can say I enjoyed the freedom to negotiate prices, customize houses, and balance work with entertainment.

Flipping Houses

In Estate Agent Simulator, you start out small – buying vacant plots of land and building on them to create your dream houses. The construction element here is simple yet satisfying, allowing you to hire workers to erect the home of your choosing. Once built, you can decorate the interiors with various appliances, furniture, and wallpapers to increase the property value. It’s fun to let your creativity run wild within the budget.

This aspect of the game is similar to the popular House Flipper. Still, it doesn't go too in-depth with the house-renovation mechanics. It's mostly some cosmetic changes here and there that ultimately affect a real estate's value.

Wheeling and Dealing

A core aspect of Estate Agent Simulator, and where much of the enjoyment stems from, is negotiating sales and rental prices with customers. It captures the hustle and bustle of the real estate business as you field calls, meet clients, and leverage your bargaining abilities to secure the best possible deals.

I liked the unpredictability of customer behaviors, ranging from upstanding tenants to shifty rent dodgers requiring some “extra convincing”. The game also recreates the risky nature of property investment, keeping finances exciting.

Work Hard, Play Hard

While constantly buying and selling houses is entertaining enough, the game rightly recognizes that even the most diligent estate agent needs to let their hair down. You’re afforded plenty of activities for leisure, like going for drinks at the local pub, taking your partner on romantic dates, or catching the latest flick at the movie theater. Building up your relationship this way allows you to progress by unlocking additional property opportunities and locations. It’s a nice change of pace from the wheeling and dealing.

In this regard, the game reminded me of My Summer Car – a game where you're tasked with something very specific, only for the player to be able to just mess around with the game.

At its core, Estate Agent Simulator is about balancing profits with quality of life. Will you risk it all by leveraging loans to buy premium real estate for top dollar? Or play it safe searching classifieds for fixer-upper properties? The game lets you shape your business according to your preferred playstyle. However, to progress in your personal relationships and access new locations, you’ll need to step away and have some fun too. It’s a satisfying gameplay loop that keeps things interesting.
