EXAPUNKS

EXAPUNKS is a hacker simulator in which players are transported to 1997 in an alternate history. In the story, programmers write code to gain access to life-saving medications in exchange for completing a specific task. They’ve been deliberately infected with certain viruses, and now your life literally depends on writing the right code. The game uses a very simple coding language, but that doesn’t mean all the tasks are easy. On the contrary, you’ll have to really rack your brain before you can get the micro-robots to work the way they’re supposed to. You can hack into security systems, stores, and banks; game servers (or write your own games, like Solitaire); delete other people’s information from servers; or break into a personal computer containing private data.
