Fear Therapy

Fear Therapy is a dark horror from an independent developer, where the user will have to roam around a dark old mansion and stop Satan trying to come out and destroy all mankind. During the passage the player will encounter evil creatures and mystical anomalies, trying to prevent him from finishing the job and killing the protagonist. During the hero's journey, the location of objects in the house and the space itself mysteriously changes.

Gameplay

At the beginning of the game you can choose your character. It is possible to choose any character, because the gameplay is not affected by the choice.

Exploring the rooms of a huge house, the player will come across dangerous traps that are constantly set by otherworldly creatures. The main task of the player will be to perform a magical ritual to exercise the devil, for which you need to collect ritual items that appear at random. After that it will be possible to leave the evil house.

In addition to the health scale, the stress level is equally important. During the shenanigans of the devil, the stress increases and the hero needs to wait in a safe place to calm down. Timely completion of tasks reduces enemy activity and also calms the player down.

An equally important resource is the flashlight charge. Without it, the light will go out, which is tantamount to defeat. First-aid kits and batteries are scattered throughout the rooms to help restore lost resources. The following items are also available for collection:

• Holy water to fight demons
• Gas to create a torch
• Blood - reduces the loss of health for a certain period of time

As in Devour, the player must complete all quests in a dystopian setting in order. Only after the exorcism ritual the player can leave the mansion.

The game should strive to pass as soon as possible. With each passing minute the evil is gaining strength, and the insidiousness of the attacks on the user is increasing. The ominous atmosphere of the mansion is complemented by gloomy voiceovers, creaking doors and other sounds. The flashlight makes it harder to see and more creepy.

Game Modes

At the beginning of the game you can not select the level of difficulty. It changes throughout the game depending on the actions of the player. Therefore, even experienced players will be able to tickle their nerves and have a hard time completing tasks.

The game features the following modes:

• Single-player, where the user fights evil on his own in an ancient mansion
• Cooperative - a network game with multiple players to complete quests together. At one location there can be no more than 4 users at a time. Passage with other players gives an advantage in collecting items
• Satan mode, where the player controls evil forces using 8 different skills to thwart other players
