From Lex to Rex is a pixel-inspired adventure game in which a pauper ragamuffin decides to become king by winning the hearts of all the courtiers and townspeople with gourmet meals.

The plot

You play the role of a young poor man who is very tired of life without money. He is jealous of the rich townspeople and eventually decides to take up fraud. He starts a rumor about himself as a chef with no equal. He ends up in the royal palace, where he must win over everyone with his cooking. If the king and his wife like his delicacies, he gets their daughter the princess as his wife.

Gameplay

Classic quest game mechanics in the point-and-click genre await you. Go through levels in linear order, solving various puzzles.

The local chef is absolutely not happy about the appearance of a competitor - steal food and kitchen utensils from him. The castle has many secret places and references to other games.
