Karnov

Karnov was released as an arcade game by Data East from 1987; then Nintendo Entertainment System version followed, with various other versions. The game presents the hardbodied, bulging muscled, fire-breathing, strongman east-Russian (Asian) berserker hero maintanning his quest to find for treasures. nevertheless, between him and the treasures were some horrible monsters, including monks with swords, jinns, foot giants fishes and skeletons.

Karnov later became Data East's talisman, and was republished in other Data East games, including Bad Dudes game. He played here boss in the first level. Karnov again appear in 1994 in another Data East games for the Neo-Geo hardware. Game called Karnov's Revenge. (aka Fighter's History Dynamite), as not a remake to the original Karnov, but to Fighter's History, as one-on-one fighter in which role he was the end boss.

Karnov travels through 9 varios stages. He can walk, jump and shoot his way through these stages and find special stuff that will help him through the game. He can assume red orbs in which he can promote up to 3 fireballs at a time. Each stage contains a difference of freacky enemies, such as gargoyles, rock golems, and obtuse bulls, which Karnov must defeat or avoid. At the final step of a stage he necessarily has to meet one or more mighty enemies which he must defeated to overpass the stage and hold of piece of a treasure map. At the final of the game there must be meeting with a powerful boss "The Wizard" After defeating him Karnov may collect his treasure.

Special Items. In each stage Karnov can collect a variety of useful items which can be picked right now or only at certain situation, such us Jump Boots, Bomb, Ladder, Boomerang, Super Fireball, Wings, Scuba Helmet, Mask, Trolley. Each îf them has his own special functions you shoud apply in game. As bonus Letter K not a special item. To earn extra life you must collect 50 such letters.
