MOBA Esport Manager 24 is one of the more interesting and unique manager games to come out this year. We have had soccer, football and even basketball manager games for years now, but with Esports becoming bigger and bigger, I guess it should not have been all that surprising that someone would want to take a stab at something like this. There are a lot of games coming out in the final quarter of 2024, but this one here has the potential to be something very, very addictive!

Playing Beyond The Game

What I think is most interesting about MOBA Esport Manager 24 is that it is not a game that puts you in the shoes of an actual Esports pro. There is no actual playing of the games yourself or your gaming skills really having anything to do with the success of your team. This is all about your work as a manager and the ultimate goal is to compete in over 100 events and make your Esports team the best in the entire world, it is a marathon, not a sprint and that is why I think this could be a super addictive game.

Building A Dynasty

A huge part of the fun of MOBA Esport Manager 24 is going to be building this amazing Esports team with your own ethos and goals. You can pick from tons of different teams from all over the world to start with. However, it is how you build this team that will ultimately dictate what kind of manager you will go down in history as. You get to pick who plays what games, but the real key here is the addition of new players to your team. Find a wonderkid and unleash them on the world or perhaps take a good player and turn them into a great one.

Laying It On The Line

Once you have built your team in MOBA Esport Manager 24 and are ready to take them on the road to play the best gamers that the world has to offer. Your work is far from done! This is where you really need to put your manager hat on as you decide what formations you are going to utilize, and what order people will be in and you will also have some off the keyboard and mouse decisions to make as well as you have to work hard to make sure that your players are happy. You put all the pieces in place and then watch as your team tries to show that they are the best players in the world.

The Flamboyance Of Esports

As I write this, MOBA Esport Manager 24 is still very much a work in progress, but already, you can see that they are trying to be as authentic as possible when it comes to the spectacle that a live Esports championship can be. The actual games are something you get to watch in a manner similar to Sega’s Football Manager game series. The game has a pretty slick style to it and with the actual real teams and tournaments being in here (from what I can tell at least) they are doing a great job in trying to recreate all the drama and showbiz stuff that comes from a life Esports event.

If you are a fan of other management style sports sims, MOBA Esport Manager 24 is going to feel very familiar to you. While this is about playing video games, the managing of your gamers and your team is a very similar thing to what you get in a Championship Manager game or some other kind of game in that genre. This is pretty cool stuff and one of the games that I think could be a pretty big sleeper hit this year. The score I am giving the game as of writing is based purely on how excited I am for the game.

Pros:

There are tons of teams to pick from
Building a great team is very satisfying
The game has a very addictive quality to it
If you are into Esports, you will love this!

Cons:

Non Esports fans may have a hard time giving this a chance
As of me writing, the game is not yet fully out so hard to say if all the pieces will fall into place
