The Worst Day of Their Lives

In New Tales from the Borderlands, you will play as characters Fran, Anu, and Octavio as they try to navigate the worst day of their lives. Their planet is being invaded, vault monsters are on the loose, and their lives are being run by a greedy capitalist who only cares about their bottom line. In tackling these issues, they will come across a cast of characters that stays true to the classic, quirky Borderlands style with plenty of jokes to keep your sides splitting.

Just like the games that inspired it, New Tales from the Borderlands will feature plenty of interactions with these characters (many of which you might even recognize), and the choices you make in those interactions will affect your characters’ path through the narrative.

An Episodic Adventure

To create a more easily-digestible experience, New Tales from the Borderlands is split into five separate parts. These episodes follow an intoxicating structure, where each one ends on a cliffhanger that builds excitement for the next episode up until the grand finale. You never know where the next episode will take you or what kind of trouble you’ll get in, but that’s just part of the fun of New Tales from the Borderlands.

This method of release is perfectly aligned with other Telltale Games like The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead, harkening back to the golden age of narrative video games.
