No Fair Play

Have you ever played a high stakes football game, and the ball was stolen from you? Have you ever wished you could just give that thief a good punch on the nose? In most games this isn’t even on the radar, but in No Fair Play, you are free to punch, kick and tackle your way through the game. Dubbed an anti-game by the developer, the goal is to win by any means necessary. The developer was extra imaginative, and there are a generous number of ways to win provided by this game.

Hilarious

At first glance, you may find this game a bit disappointing. The graphics are shoddy at best. It’s just a court, a ball, and some absolutely awful looking characters. There’s no detail at all, yet for No Fair Play, this isn’t important at all. The game is absolutely hilarious to play, with your friends tackling you, hanging onto your ankles while you try to score a goal, or kicking you in the shins. This is an awesome game for playing with your friends, streaming, or as party entertainment. While the game isn’t quite as fun without friends, it can be played with bots as well. To be clear, this is no FIFA, but it’s a unique and enjoyable game in its own right.

Physics Based

No Fair Play is filled with epic moments. You can crash into each other, hang onto each other’s necks, and pile-drive through your opponents. (Let’s be real here, you can crash into and punch your own teammates as well.) All of these actions are physics based, and have satisfying reactions when you are able to successfully knock down your opponent.

Multiple Modes

If you get bored of playing football, the game also has a parkour mode that pits you and your friends against each other in a sort of back-alley situation. You can once again use those “back-alley” moves to get ahead.

Downsides

As with any game, there’s a few downsides to No Fair Play. The controls are not very intuitive and are downright clunky. The developers have also stopped updating it, which means there’s no hope of new maps, improved performance, or more moves.

This game also doesn’t have many random players at any one time. This means you should plan to play with bots, expect to get a server with a high ping, or you’ll have to bring your own friends. Since this game is mainly designed to play with people you already know however, it’s likely this won’t be a problem since you should have friends in mind.

This game doesn’t have great graphics or controls, but that’s not the point of the game. It’s made to be a silly, outrageous game that lets you goof off with your friends. If you enjoy wrestling around with your friends, goofing off, and knocking each other over the head (virtually at least.) This is a great game for you.

No Fair Play - sports competitions that may resemble soccer, but it is only an illusion. Break into the reckless everyday life of soccer without rules. Or rather, the rule is only one - to score a goal. Use all possible tricks, set up your opponents, knock them down and make deceptive moves to achieve your goal. Maps with unusual landscape for soccer and the possibility to introduce parkour into the game. A whole epic battle for the ball in the goal will unfold on your screens.

Pros of the game:

• There are no rules, just an endless battle for the ball
• The ball can easily get into the goal, but that's not the problem
