Rugrats: Royal Ransom is an adventure game released in 2002, based on the popular animated series Rugrats. The game was developed by Avalanche Software and published by THQ for PlayStation 2 and GameCube. The plot of the game begins with the Rugrats playing house when Angelica, the older sister, decides to give them a challenge. She proclaims herself “queen” and takes away the babies' favorite toys, hiding them in a huge castle on top of the playground. To get their stuff back, the little ones - Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil and Kimi - must go through various levels designed as rooms in the house and defeat Angelica.
