I am actually surprised that we do not have more games like Streamer Life Simulator. I played a game many years ago about being a YouTuber and that was a lot of fun. So I was not surprised that a game about becoming the best streamer on the internet showed up. I think that what we have here is a very solid premise and there are some decent ideas in the game. They have the bones for something good here and I feel if they were to make a sequel it could be something very special.

An Icon In The World Of Streaming!

At the start of Streamer Life Simulator, we are just your average gamer that wants to make it big as a streamer. We live in a pretty crummy neighborhood; we do not exactly have the best computer and we lack the funds to keep up with the latest games. However, that will all change if you manage to find an audience and start making money because people love watching your streams.

More Than Just Gaming

One thing that I think is both a positive and negative about Streamer Life Simulator is how much there is for you to do. The streaming aspect of this game is just part of you. There is also looking after your “wellbeing” as well, not to mention having the chance to make more money doing side jobs and selling stuff to pawn shops. I think that they should have got rid of the “wellbeing” aspect of the gameplay as it just slows things down and is more of a chore.

Slowing It Down

Ok, so I know that I just said that a certain part of Streamer Life Simulator slows the game down. However, time in this game moves way too fast. Driving from one area to the next and your actual streaming all feel like they are rushed. I like how there are different games to stream and there is some strategy here too. For example, streaming the right game when it is hot is going to get way more eyes on your stream. Plus, the way you engage with your viewers can get you loyal fans that are not shy about spending their money on you.

More Practical Than Flashy

The presentation of Streamer Life Simulator is not exactly amazing. It is funny that they have different games you can play and stream, but the whole game from the city you live in, the apartment you stream in, and the games that you play all have a very basic and kind of sterile look to them. This is not a horrible looking game by any means, but it lacks the charm you get with another simulator game, Youtubers Life.

As I said in the intro, Streamer Life Simulator has some great ideas and the game is fun and quite addictive. I like the idea of trying to make it big as a streamer and think that for a first try, they have managed to make something pretty damn solid. However, I do feel that it could do with having the gameplay finetuned a bit and also adding a bit more personality and pizzazz to the visuals to make it more appealing to play.
