Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is a role-playing game that takes you by the hand to the other side of the night. Get to know the darkness up close and it will want to get to know you in return. Many years of life have no bearing on the presence of brains, so it's up to you to clean up the old men's messes.

Vampires must remain in the shadows

The existence of the supernatural is always hard to believe until you see it with your own eyes. But evil hardly wants to be seen. That's exactly what Hazel Iversen, better known by her nickname "The Swan," thinks. Having gained power over the Boston Camarilla, the ancient vampire would like to tighten the vampire law, the Masquerade. The Masquerade forces all vampires to hide their true selves and not allow mortals to learn of the existence of the children of the night. However, strange murders, intrigue, and rife scandals may reveal the secret of the vampires' existence.

One protagonist is boring

The gameplay allows you to play as three ancient vampires and investigate who is behind all the intrigue and murder in the city. To do so, you will have to analyze the three points of view of the characters, speak correctly to your interlocutors and "vacuum" the area for clues.

The Art of Persuasion

How do you talk to people the right way? That's the whole special mechanic and all the action of the game. During important conversations there are special mechanics, like fighting games, but with words. There are three main characters and three vampire abilities that you can use and get the most truthful answer:

• Seduction
• Persuasion
• Intimidation

Each character can use one of the three elements, but there are some characters who do it best. In each dialogue, there is a risk of missing an important detail or scaring away a witness. That's why conversations in this game are like combat in Dark Souls. You have to strike clearly and accurately, dodging and answering questions.

Depending on the evidence gathered, you will need to rid the Camarilla of intrigues and those who wish to destroy the fine line between the world of humans and vampires. The wrong choice will lead to dire consequences, not only for the characters themselves, but for the Camarilla as a whole.
