Within Skerry

Within Skerry is a grim first-person puzzle game in which you have to solve several dark mysteries of an old mansion.

Plot

The Internet is abuzz with sensational news - several important world leaders have suddenly disappeared. Rumor has it that they were all in the same old mansion on the island, which is now abandoned. Rumor has it that terrible things were done there, and nefarious, inhumane deals were made. All the events of the secret meetings were recorded in a special book called "The Accumulation of Evil. Perhaps it contains clues to their current location. The protagonist sets out to explore the old building alone, not even knowing what nightmare he will encounter there.

Gameplay

You may have seen games with similar gameplay many times - MARIONETTE, Maid of Sker, Homesick, Observer, The Infected, and many others. The combination of a walking simulator and a psychological horror perfectly complement each other, like toasted toast and peanut butter. You are invited to explore an abandoned house with many rooms, some of them locked. You peek into every drawer and locker, looking for keys, letters, newspapers, and anything else that might come in handy as a melee weapon. Everywhere is in semi-darkness, which at night turns into pitch darkness, and you can't do without a flashlight. Watching what is happening in all the rooms at the same time can be done with the help of night vision cameras.
