Among them are several sensational and beloved by users platformers, based on the animated series from the Walt Disney Company. Some of them got new life thanks to independent developers and fans. One of these projects is the game Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers Remastered.

Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers Remastered is a remake of the Nintendo Entertainment System game released on the eight-bit console by Capcom in June 1990. The updated version has nothing to do with the creators of the original or The Walt Disney Company. It was born from a team of enthusiasts at RR16 Studio. But the independent developers did a good job and tried to make the game even better.

Genre-wise the remaster is the same mix of 2D platformer and arcade. In many ways it copies the 1990 game. But some moments and levels were redesigned and updated. In particular, the game has new villains. And muzzles of anthropomorphic chipmunks now hide funny armbands, similar to the equipment of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles protagonists. Otherwise, it's the same old-school arcade game with Rescue Rangers characters in the lead roles.

The Chipmunks are back in action

Narratively, Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers Remastered is a complete repeat of the original Capcom game. The two brave chipmunks continue their activities. They take on a new mission - finding and rescuing a little kitten. For this, it is necessary to explore the streets. You will have to fight with criminal elements and escape from the unknown from where on the streets of metal dogs.

As you pass, it becomes clear that behind the chaos on the streets is an old enemy of the rescuers - the Fat Cat. And he kidnapped Gadget Hackwrench. Guys need to find the lair of the insidious criminal and save his girlfriend. In this they are helped by Monterey Jack and Zipper. They give clues and direct the heroes. And when the whole team is assembled, it remains only to deal with the remaining enemies to protect the city!

The game can be played alone as Chip or Dale, or in pairs with the cooperative mode.
