Fatal Fury Wild Ambition

The Fatal Fury franchise has been a consistent arcade favorite among hardcore fighting fans, so the almost-arcade-true translation Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition will feature aspects of the original game, such as the music, but will also expand on the original with 14 stages and a deeper story line. Plus, there will be a total of 14 fighters along with 2 new brawlers exclusive to the PlayStation version--all of whom will be able to perform over 30 different moves within arcade, versus, team battle, and training modes. Soon you'll be able to enjoy all the franchises furious smack-downs without losing a quarter.

Notable for being the first Hyper Neo-Geo64 home conversion thus far, Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition brings the FF crew into the world of 3D for the first time. Following in the footsteps of the Samurai Shodown series, FF:WA mixes fully polygonal graphics with old-school 2D gameplay (like what Capcom did with Street Fighter EX, but not nearly as pretty). SNK and Electronic Arts is bringing this one to the States this fall.
