Because just as in human beings respect must be transcendental for a relationship, it is also transcendental in dealing with horses, since these animals are incredible, strong, and with an elegance that amazes them. However, they are sensitive beings that need affection and care. It is therefore necessary to know how to get along with them; the best way to do this is through love and affection. The horse world has its customs and traditions that you should respect if you want to understand what the animal wants from you. But doing all of this in real life is nearly impossible for most people, but doing it in a video game makes it much more accessible, that's where Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch comes into play! But What is this game all about?

About the game

Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch is presented as an open-world equestrian adventure. The plot starts with a vacation at the aunt's house. Nothing will be as planned, since we will be in front of a prestigious ranch, or rather, in the one that once was, since it is now in terrible conditions and pretty much abandoned. On this premise, we will make friends with the inhabitants of the area and explore, with total freedom, nature.

This mission will take you on a fantastic open-world adventure that will have you exploring the magnificent and varied landscapes of the peninsula, from the colorful coastline of Coral Lagoon to the lush forest of the Birchwoods. You will make many friends along the way, including nearby residents and, of course, horses!

As the name implies, even though restoring the ranch and keeping it running is why you're there in the first place, the core mechanic of the game revolves around taking care of and taming the horses. As we share with them we learn how to communicate with these beautiful creatures as well as make sure they have everything they need on their ranch.

Working hard

We will gallop through what promises to be enchanting scenery along the seashore, through the forest, and by the lagoon. We should know that each of our horses will be unique, with its abilities, personality, preferences, and needs.

This genre of game is pretty popular, and you'll also have to consider that we're not just talking about the horse. But instead, focus on taking care of the ranch part. This pretty much reminded us of games like Stardew Valley, of course, the visuals are very different in these two games.

Our goal will be to restore the ranch, which means getting rid of all the weeds, repairing fences, building stables, getting food for the horses, improving the water system, and generally taking care of every aspect of the ranch. And even with that, you could even compare it to Animal Crossing in the whole wedding part and building relationships.

Horse Tales: Emerald Valley is the best-looking game in the Horse Tales franchise. And sure, even though the visuals are not realistic, it is well-stylized enough to be a pretty solid game. The gameplay is cool and the entire game is pretty solid, there are some drawbacks though. For one, it can get a little repetitive, and it can feel too shallow.
