Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is extremely popular not only in Japan but all over the world. It has a unique art style, and people love how over the top the characters are. Last Survivor is not the first JoJo game of the anime, but it is for sure one of the most unique. Most of the games are fighting games, but this one has a twist.

You must compete against nineteen other players, and use your Stand to defeat them. A Stand is a unique power that Jojo’s character possesses, and it is a physical manifestation of their life force, and each of them has a certain power.

Some of them excel at close-range combat, while others can hide from a safe distance and send their Stands to fight for them. Each character can perform a normal attack, charged attack, and also use their Stand special ability. We will use Jotaro’s Stand as an example, and his ability is to stop-time, and immobilize his opponents for a few seconds.

Aside from being Jojo’s battle royale game, what makes it even more unique is that players can level up. To do that you must defeat other players, and collect poker chips. By leveling up you are given access to more abilities.

So for the rest of the world, it means that we won’t be able to play Last Survivor. The game was a huge success when it was released back in 2019, and it is still very popular today. The game is still available in the arcades, so if you ever have a chance to visit Japan, be sure to stop by an arcade over there so that you can play Last Survivor with nineteen other players.

The game was published by Bandai Namco, and it has been three years since its release, but there are still no signs that the game will ever be released on other platforms. So for fans of both Jojo and battle royale games who are not from Japan, you might never get the chance to play it.

A true friend, an incorruptible comrade, a loyal ally, a truthful teammate - forget it, in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Last Survivor there are no friends, only enemies. Motivated fighters fight to the last drop of blood. Shoot everybody you see. You can play as all characters from the third part of the JoJo manga (Golden Wind) to the fifth (Crusaders of Stardust).

Gameplay

The player controls a combat-ready character. He runs around a large map that shrinks over time. Beyond the boundary of the safe zone, the environment is poisonous, and any living creature dies if it gets there. At the beginning of the round, different players are placed throughout the map in random squares. After the respawn soldiers run closer to the houses and farm buildings because there are hidden bonuses and weapons.

It is necessary to empty the health of each enemy, taking a minimum of damage. Try to be stealthy and fight at a long distance. Dangerous encounters are less frequent at the beginning of the round and more frequent at the end when two or three players will be fighting in an area of several square meters.
