You get to play as Bari, the unluckiest guy you'll ever meet, and watch as he gets tangled up in a series of ridiculous situations that will have you rolling on the floor laughing. From setting the kitchen on fire while attempting to cook, to flooding the laundry room, this game throws one curveball after another at our poor protagonist.

What starts off as a normal day quickly spirals into a never-ending parade of crazy events that defy all logic. Bari can't even make a simple piece of toast without turning the kitchen into an inferno. And that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his misfortunes.

As the game progresses, the slapstick misadventures become increasingly absurd, challenging you to keep a straight face amidst the chaos. If you're a fan of wacky physics-based humor games like Goat Simulator, then Loser Simulator is definitely your cup of tea.

The Humor is On Point

With its hilarious sense of humor and unapologetic immaturity, Loser Simulator had me laughing my head off nonstop. This game isn't afraid to take us to ridiculously absurd and nonsensical places. One thing I felt was missing from this game is the outrageous scenarios, like those we had in Manual Samuel.

Sure, the controls can be a bit clunky on purpose, which can sometimes be frustrating. But honestly, that just adds to the chaotic fun. It's like trying to keep poor Bari standing upright in the midst of all the craziness. It's like playing a wackier, more exaggerated version of Goat Simulator or like the twisted cousin of the classic I Am Bread.

Torture Bari (It’s Fun!)

Every time you think Loser Simulator can't get any more delightfully inappropriate, it proves you wrong. Bari's suffering knows no bounds, putting him through traumatizingly funny scenarios that make games like Untitled Goose Game look tame by comparison.

While other games would probably set the comedy to 11 by introducing Bari to increasingly unlikely scenarios, the comedy in Loser simulator comes from the absurdity of a boring life. The shocking, nonsensical, and blatantly offensive situations constantly keep you guessing and ensure no two playthroughs are ever the same.

A Masterclass in Failure

Ultimately, Loser Simulator is a celebration of life's little failures and embarrassments. In giving players full control over Bari's descent into calamity, the game allows us to wallow in the very human experience of having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. And what better way to confront that experience than by ratcheting it up to supremely absurd heights?

If you liked the open-ended approach of games like The Stanley Parable, then Loser Simulator will be right up your alley. And, please, don’t be too harsh on Bari. The guy deserves a break already.
