The Gameplay

My Dream Setup is pretty simple, the objective here is to build the room of your dreams. You can put desks, beds, game consoles, PCs, furniture, plants, bookshelves, and much more.

There aren’t any objectives in this game; it’s just you decorating your room. It’s a relaxing sim pretty much like the Home Design saga, but much simpler. It also looks a lot like The Sims when you are creating your home, but only oriented towards decorating a room. Your creativity will not have any limits; you can design a perfect room for streamers, a cool room you can use as a gym, or something as simplistic as a bedroom with beautiful decorations. It’s up to you!

My Dream Setup has two modes; the blueprint mode, where you can modify the layout of the walls and set the windows and doors of your room, and the placing mode where you can decorate your room as you wish.

Give Your Room A Lot of Personality

A cool thing this game has is that you can change every aspect of every item of the game; you can change the color of the furniture, paint the walls and rearrange everything as you like.

Also, My Dream Setup has a giant amount of detail on every item the game has and a big amount of items you can use to decorate. There are game controllers, LED lights, arcade machines, Rubik's cubes, etc. You can even use this game as a simulator of how to decorate your own room! The possibilities are endless here; you can create the perfect room for you or a setup with an expensive PC in a giant desk but with a mattress laid on the floor as your bed, like the classic nowadays streamer setup.

Where are the SFXs?

Even though the game is meant to be relaxing, it lacks sound and special effects. It would look nicer if the game has sounds for everything you place, and it would feel more complete if some of the items of the game, like the PCs or the consoles have more effects rather than RGB lighting and a static screen. In other words, make it feel more like a sim!
