When you talk about the biggest names in the video game world, it's really hard to find one bigger and more beloved than The Legend of Zelda. Even though it has always been exclusive to Nintendo, the franchise is an icon of the video game industry, and it's considered a synonym for video games in many cases. Every game they release with the name it's pretty much an instant classic and hit. Here we're going to be talking about the latest hit in the video game industry, one of the most hyped and expected video games of all time. We are talking about The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. So what's up with this game?

About the game

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the direct sequel to Breath of the Wild, and it's one of the most hyped video games of all time. after the previous title was acclaimed to be one of the best games ever made pretty much universally, great things are expected of this sequel. This new installment is said to be even better than its predecessor because it offers a whole new world that players can explore. It also features some of the most amazing designs in history thanks to the wonderful work of all the artists involved in making this game.

Even though the game uses a lot of the assets of the previous game, including having the same base map and enemies, the game is much bigger than the first one. Adding a completely new world on top of the previous Hyrule we got in the first one. Quite literally on top of it, as the game added a new kingdom in the skies.

The floating kingdom has a lot of new mechanics involved with it, modifying heavily the gameplay. The Sheikah Slate has many new uses now, being more versatile than ever, and expanding the game thanks to that.

Breath of the Wild 2?

Ever since it was announced the game has been commonly referred to as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, after all, it is a sequel to Breath of The Wild. And for the longest time, the game did look a lot like the first one. After all, the visuals are way too similar, and the world and enemies are mostly the same.

But they've released a lot of content showing that the game is different enough from the first game. With all the new content they've included, all the new mechanics, and much more, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is set to be a record-breaking game. The first one was one of the best-selling games for the Nintendo Switch, and it helped a lot in catapulting the platform to the success it currently has.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is following the same tracks as its predecessor, and f it does then it's going to be a perfect game as well. Even if is half as good as the first game, it would still be one of the best games of the year.
