8 Meg games rarely provide the punch they promote, but this hits the mark! Valis 3 has all of the qualities of a good game: cool graphics, control, music, and cinema displays. For those who cannot afford a high priced CD player, this cart will be a pleasant addition to their collection.
Leave it to Renovation to pick great games. Valis 3 has the perfect mix of challenge, game play, length, difficulty and action. Throw in very good graphics and interesting intermissions and this is one of the few 8 meg games that is worth the higher price!
Valis 3 is a very cool action game that has a lot to offer. Great graphics and good sound highlight this sword slashing adventure. Kind of like Castlevania 3, you meet new people and then become them. A bit slow paced and too-easy, but very good. I miss the CD voices and music.
Cool! This version of the classic CD game was very satisfying and fun to play. Expecting nothing even close to the CD version, I was very surprised at the excellent detail and cinema displays (minus voices). This is certainly a worthy game on its own. Take a look at this one.

The adventures of Yuko and her Valis sword are continued in Valis III for the Turbo CD-ROM. This time, Yuko is forced into battling Glames, who happens to own the Leethus sword, the counterpart to Yuko's Valis sword. This time around, Yuko has the help of two new found friends who you can change into during play, one with a whip, the other with powerful magic. Animated cinema displays.

Valis 3 is really a good example of taking the benefits of the CD-ROM technology and pairing them with a very hot game. The quest, adventure, action, graphics, sounds, music and overall game play are killer from beginning to end. Give us more of this NEC and you can't go wrong.
This must be the month of the successive CD sequels! This game is truly a title-and-a-half over the Genesis version, containing even more levels-AWESOME cinemas, and some really intense game play with some great voice! I can't wait for the sequel!
Finally a Turbo game that blows away the Genesis version of the same name! Great music and cool cinema displays are definitely a step above the cartridge version. I don't like the mixed TurboChip/CD soundtrack, but it still sounds impressive. My one complaint is that it's easy.
Don't wait up! This is the best of the Valis trilogy yet! With number four coming soon, Valis 3 is a must for those who are looking to keep up with the series! Anyway, if you want to follow along with the story, pick up this game and grab some headphones. The tunes are superb!

The Dark realm is Fading...
The Dark World is dying! Glames, King of the Dark World, owns the evil counterpart of the Valis sword. Cham, a young girl from the Dark World tries to save her world by stealing the Valis Sword from Yuko. After teaming up with Yuko, they manage to rescue Valna, Yuko's twin sister. Now these three brave women must defeat the minions of Glames, ultimately learning the true nature of the Sword of Valis, kept secret for all time!

Valis III, another hot title from Japan, continues the story of the magical Valis sword. The evil Emperor Magus (picture a "Transformer" with a bad attitude) is once again ravaging the land of Vecanti. The holder of the Valis sword is the only one with a chance of defeating Magus in over nine levels of action/adventure.
A unique feature of Valis II, and the entire Valis series, is the fact that the champion of each story is female. In Valis III three women lead the charge against evil. One carries a bladed whip, one fights with a powerful magic staff, and one wields the Valis sword. Each of the three heroines can also use four different types of magic.
