Ys Memories of Celceta

Ys Memories of Celceta is a dynamic role-playing game with real-time combat, where the famous hero Adol gets into trouble again and tries to solve mysteries.

Story

The story told in Ys: Memories of Celceta begins when the brave adventurer Adol Christine enters the Great Forest of Celceta, from which it is rumored no one has ever returned. The hero has completely lost his memory. Confused and unable even to remember his name, the boy is almost immediately confronted by the muscular Duren, an informant. The warrior claims to have met him in the past and volunteers to accompany Adol on an adventure. He must explore the forest and map it for the emperor. He pays thirty million gold coins.

Players will be shown childhood memories and key moments in Adol's life, prepare to empathize. The daring duo of Adol and Duren will shed light not only on the mysterious circumstances that robbed the boy of his memory, but also on the mystery that lies hidden in the mortal forests of Selceta.

Gameplay

The player has the freedom to wander and get lost within an almost limitless map. The location is filled with optional quests, hidden treasures, unique enemies, and secrets.

Each character has individual abilities: Adol interacts with the power of light, and his companion Duren is able to open the locks of sealed chests. Quests are usually performed in people's huts, hunters' dens, in darkness, and during the day. Quests can sometimes be set aside and assess the surrounding landscape.

To make it easier to move between the edges of the map, and so that players don't have to return on foot for long periods of time, there are teleporters in the forest.

As with any self-respecting RPG, the title has a basic crafting system, allowing you to use minerals found during the adventure to improve any weapons and armor.
