It’s up to you to join up with and take control of one of the local factions of this alien planet and put an end to the forces of evil that threaten the lives of everyone you hold dear. Gameplay

A third-person action game like Red Faction: Guerilla or Red Dead Redemption 2, this game focuses a little more on the mechanics that it offers as opposed to the way it looks. There is a lot here as the game lets you pick between a bunch of factions who all operate in very different ways.

The fluidity of the progression system is absolutely stunning and provides a significant amount of creative control over the player. One of the best functions of the game is the Jet Pack. Just like in Anthem, you are free to zip around the map and engage enemies with a level of control not really seen before.

Its up to you to be the errand boy for all these factions, fight and kill enemies in close or long range with the new fleshed out control system. This is one of the few games that really allows you to “play your own way. Whether you want to shoot the enemy or beat them to death with a large stick, its entirely up to you. If you like a game that sets you loose on an exciting new world filled with monsters, this is the one that will keep your attention.

Visuals

This game is pretty nice looking, I can’t deny. It’s definitely a kick up in the graphics department from the first game. Everything looks unique from the way faction members and monsters look to the landscapes and strongholds. You are flying and fighting your way through a few different biomes and its always worth having a proper look around to fully appreciate the work they’ve put in. There is something remarkably alien about the world, which makes sense because it is an alien world, but its something that you can physically see and experience. It doesn’t just look like it could be set in any old place on Earth.

Story

You take control of Jax, and its up to you to put and end to the threat coming from the skies and make a world that your son can live comfortably in. The story is pretty simple as far as adventure games go; kill and move on, rinse and repeat.
