If you cannot get enough of the Sims, The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories is the latest expansion that is adding a whole bunch of content to the game. This latest game is all about getting married, but as fans of the series will expect there is a ton of new stuff to play around with here and it adds in a whole new dynamic to the lives of your sims. If you are already invested in this game, you are probably already interested in what is going on here.

The Big Day!

The main event of The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories is of course the actual wedding. The thing is, there is far more to this game than just having two Sims walk down the aisle and tie the knot. Of course, the whole expansion is building up to two of The Sims getting married, but there is more going on here than that.

The Big Run Up

The actual wedding is actually a small part of the overall experience of what The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories is offering! Anyone who has gotten married or been part of a wedding party knows first hand just how much goes into it and this expansion does a great job of recreating it, but in a far less soul destroying way than a real wedding. From finding the right location, tasting different cakes, prepping the list, and just getting your clothes right. There is a lot to do in this game before the big day actually arrives.

As far as the actual weddings go in The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories these are a lot of fun. The Sims get married and you get to see the whole thing unfold. However, those that are really into the whole social dynamic of their Sims are going to get a real kick out of the wedding party as the Sims interact, dance, and get all awkward around each other.

Embracing Your Creative Side

My wife gobbles up all of these Sims expansions and she is pretty pumped about what The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories is offering. However, like many of you Sims’s fanatics that are out there, it is more the extra stuff that is added to the game that she can be creative with that she really loves. As you would expect, you get a whole bunch of new items for dressing up your Sims. From elegant wedding dresses to stylish looking party clothing. There are also a ton of new build items added as well, so for those that love to build homes, businesses, and more, they will have a ton of new things to play around with here.

I have to say that out of all the expansions that have been released for this game, The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories is probably the one that is least appealing to me. However, that is because I hate and I mean hate going to weddings in real life so the last thing I want to do is play a game themed around them! However, those that are really invested in the world of The Sims 4 will eat this up, there is some charm and fun to be had here so if you do like The Sims 4 be sure to check it out.
