If you have played Youtubers Life and had a good time then Video Blogger Story is a game for you. I found Youtubers Life to be a really fun experience while it lasted and this game is clearly trying to offer something in a similar style. It is very, very similar, but the big difference I feel is that this one is free to play!

Build Your Blogger

The game starts by having you create your character. You have a fair bit of freedom when it comes to making your blogger. I just tried to make mine look as close to myself as possible, but you are pretty much free to do what you want really. Once you have your look, you can work on your stats. You have a few stat points that you can dish out into the different categories which are, humor, intelligence, speech, attraction, charisma, and luck. You of course, also have to give your “U Tube” channel a name.

Build Your Channel Your Way

The game starts you off at the very bottom and the goal is to work your way up to becoming a popular blogger who has a ton of subscribers and a ton of money! Video Blogger Story starts you off with 500 bucks and with this money you can buy some games that you can play and stream to the world. There are various categories of games and you have to decide if you want to specialize in one style of game or try and be a jack of all trades.

Progress Like A Star

When you start out, you cannot monetize your games, but eventually, you will get subs who will leave comments and this will grow your channel to the point where you can have ads. These adds will give you more money which really opens up the game. As well as buying new games, you can also buy new stuff for your room and equipment. You can decide to do live streams, game reviews and pranks so you have a decent number of things to do.

It is impossible not to compare Video Blogger Story to Youtubers Life and in that regard, I must admit this is like a lite version of Youtubers Life. Do not get me wrong, I have had fun with this, but at the end of the day, I just feel that it is lacking a bit of the polish and spark that I really wanted.

I think for a free game that Video Blogger Story is most certainly worth a play. If you are one of the people who have not played Youtubers Life then I would actually suggest you play this one first. If you like this, check out Youtubers Life as it is actually a better version of what this offers. That is not to say that this is a bad game, it is far from it.

• It feels great when a video catches on and gets tons of views
• Decorating your room is fun

• At the end of the day, it is a more basic version of Youtubers Life
• It could do with a tad more polish all around
