VPet-Simulator

Let me start by saying that VPet-Simulator is freaking adorable and something you have to mess around with! I do also have to say that this game is free to play and you really do not have anything to lose by giving this a try. There is no shortage of “virtual pet” kind of games or apps out there, but this one here does more than enough to stand out from the crowd. I ended up being charmed…. And sometimes frustrated by it that I had to have some fun talking about it.

No Four Legged Friends Here

The twist that VPet-Simulator has going on is that we do not have a virtual cat, dog, or even dinosaur to play with. This game gives us a very needy little anime girl that always wants our attention and she is so freaking cute! What is the point of all of this? Hey, there is absolutely none, this is just purely all done to make you smile and have fun. It is very easy to download and install and she just does what she does.

Those Head Pats Are A Must

Your little anime pet is always going to show up. It does not matter if you are busy working from home or playing a game of Overwatch. VPet-Simulator will have her show up on your screen and want some attention from you. You can give her head pats by just clicking on her and playing around with her and giving her attention is so addictive. However, she will even show up during an intense gaming session, there is a Steam review where a dude got kicked from a game of Valorant because he accidently clicked on her, but hey, he took it in all good fun and reading that review made me want to install this even more.

Doing What She Does

So, what exactly does your own little anime pet girl do? Well, she kind of just screws around on your screen. VPet-Simulator has a ton of personality and one of the most fun things I saw here do was when I was hard at work writing something and I did not want to break my stride so I just ignored her. This made her stamp her feet in anger, climb to the top of my screen, and then sort of float down to the bottom. It was hilarious and the same kind of attention getting thing my cat will do, only she will flat out lay on top of my keyboard.

The XXX Side Of Virtual Pet Ownership

What I am going to talk about here in VPet-Simulator is all optional and it is not tied into the regular release you will get off Steam or wherever. Yet, I do think I need to tell you that the fact they let people on Steam Workshop go nuts and do what they want has led to as you would expect, a whole bunch of XXX content being added for your little virtual anime girl. I dabbled and it is fun, but to be honest with you, I liked her innocent little anime style so I just left all the XXX stuff, but hey, it is there if you want it and some of it is very well done.

Pros:

• She is your own little anime girl pet
• I liked how expressive she was
• Her temper tantrums were so much fun
• It has some pretty amazing Steam Workshop support

Cons:

• Some of the Steam Workshop stuff is pretty XXX and intense!
• She may get annoying after a while
