I have heard Bunhouse described as the most wholesome game of 2021 and I think that is pretty hard to disagree with! This at its core is a farming style of game, but the real draw here is that you play as s cute bunny who along with other bunnies needs to take care of the greenhouse. The aim of the game is to be relaxing, fun, and the kind of experience that is great for those who want a game that will help them unwind and relax.

Living The Good Bunny Life

There is no big story that you have to worry about playing through or missing key plot points within Bunhouse. The whole premise of the game is very simple, but it is in this simplicity that you have such a great concept. We are a bunny, one of a few and we need to keep our plants growing and our greenhouse staying in great shape.

It is all about living that good bunny life. Think of it as an, even more, laidback Stardew Valley or Story of Seasons and you will have a basic idea of what to expect here.

Working With Your Buns

In Bunhouse, there is no combat, nothing to worry about, and the main thing you will be doing is watering and taking care of your plants. There are many plants that you can grow in the game and there is a handy little guide that tells you what they are and how to care for them. As you progress in the game you and your fellow buns can also improve and edit the greenhouse by changing its color and stuff like that. These buns are not scared of technology and they can even order new accessories and items for their greenhouse. It does not take long for the gameplay loop to get its hooks into you at all.

Buns Playing With Buns

I do also have to mention that while Bunhouse is designed as a chill out kind of game that you can play on your own and just relax with. You can also play this with up to three friends. You guys can work together and have a shared vision of what you feel like your greenhouse and lifestyle of these bunnies should be.

Coloring By Numbers

Visually, the game has a very strange kind of look to it. I think it has a kind of coloring book vibe going on as everything is not super detailed, but it is still very easy on the eyes.

The bunnies are very cute and I like the way they walk around with little watering cans or fish in the boat. It has a whole lot of charm to it and it is a game that is going to make you smile a great deal as you play it.

I am surprised that there are not more games like Bunhouse. I love the idea of what they have done here and this is the perfect game to play in-between finishing one big game and starting the next one, a pallet cleanser if you will. I know that some people will play this for 10 minutes here and there and be done with it, but I can see some people getting really into this, especially if they are playing with a friend.
