We’ve seen a good deal of solid cowboy video games in the past, and two of the best video games of the past decade, maybe even of all times, are westerns, you know which two we are talking about. So a sim game with the title Cowboy Life Simulator seems like an immediate great idea, right? After all so many of us grew up playing to bee cowboys, why not simulate it in a game one more time? About the game

A title that promises to transport the player to the 19th century in the heart of the American West. Cowboy Life Simulator will force you to avoid death as you fight hunger, outlaws, and a million other ways to succumb to western style.

As you manage your family's farm, you can choose to become a lone cowboy leading a hard life or an adventurer who wants to change his destiny. To do this you will be able to hunt and catch wild horses, a mechanic that is directly reminiscent of Red Dead Redemption and its prequels but goes further: you will need to have young and healthy horses and you will not get them for free, there will always be something to give in return.

You will be able to build new buildings and repair the old ones so that your team and your animals have a decent shelter. In addition, following the precedent of Farming Simulator, you will have to choose the best pastures and fields to obtain quality livestock, as well as the products derived from it. All in a first-person and the ability to control the most typical objects of the old west.

An original take

Now, as you may have noticed, we actually drew some comparisons there, but it doesn’t mean the game is not original or that it doesn’t innovate. Sure it’s hard to come up that hasn’t been done regarding cowboys and western stuff. As its creators point out, we will be facing a Wild West different from what we have seen before. We will try to avoid death, replacing the routine of the farm with adventure. We will need healthy horses, a task that will not be easy to achieve. In addition, they will need a shelter, so construction will be the order of the day.

While we raise the cows in large pastures, we will try to avoid robberies and murders by outlaws. The options will continue with saloon gambling and trading. All this will take place in an open world.
