So what if the world's giant monsters decided to have a casual brawl in the earth's most prominent cities? Well, as you can imagine, it would be complete destruction and mayhem. GigaBash is one of those games that showcase if giant creatures decided to settle their differences in vastly populated areas - but you play as the monsters!

GigaBash is a casual fighter inspired by those Japanese movies where giant creatures and robots duke it out on the streets of Tokyo. It's a fun-filled party title that includes as many mini-games as it does with epic brawler combat. The game is a bizarre scenario, but I'll be damned if it doesn't look so much fun! Let's review the demo of this upcoming fighter.

Never Talk About Kaiju

So what is GigaBash exactly? Great questions. It's a multiplayer brawler game where players seize control of creatures known as Titans. They've awakened from thousands of years of slumber to apparently battle it out for control of the world. Because that's always the first thing, you want to do after a long sleep, right?

The narrative is as ridiculous as the gameplay, but that's what makes it so engaging. Each of the Titans has its own unique skillsets and battle moves, where the urban environments of the planet are your combat zones. You can leverage the fully destructible environments to your advantage - pits, buildings, natural elements, and so much more.

The end result is massively entertaining for the players even though you're essentially destroying livelihoods repeatedly. It's a combat game that keeps us immersed and raises the stakes as a party brawler. Even casual players can enjoy its easy-to-learn, hard-to-master battle mechanics and get stuck right into gameplay. There are even single-player campaigns with strong narratives should you want to learn more about the mysteries of these creatures.

GigaBash is an enormously fun fighter for a variety of reasons. The core is that the character designs and combat arenas provide enough diversity to provide hours of replayability. And we're only at the demo so far. The full-version could see even more improvement and a surplus of gripping Titan warfare to enjoy!

Real-Life Royal Rumble

GigaBash feels like it has the potential to be a go-to online party game for a while. The concepts may be esoteric, but the widespread fun factor is already there in the demo. It's like a steroid-pumped version of Pummel Party. Instead of controlling little land critters in various biomes, everything is taken to a massive, destructive scale.

We can't find too much wrong with GigaBash at the moment. However, if it follows suit like all party games, it will be great for a while and eventually enjoyable. However, the game does leave avenues open to expand, update, and add a new character roster. You'd feel there's an exciting future for GigaBash yet!
