Go back and embark on a new journey now with Homeworld 3, an amazing sci-fi strategy game, where you commandeer a fleet, and use it to battle in space. Be sure to make use of all different types of terrains to get the upper hand against your enemies. It has been almost twenty years since the previous Homeworld was released, and fans can’t wait to see what the new one will bring to the table. There still isn’t much information about it, but we know the game will take place after the events of the previous game.

Command Your Fleet

On Homeworld 3, you make use of the mother ship to build all types of ships, from carriers, harvesters, and battleships. In order to survive, you will need to make strategic decisions, and always be extremely aware of your surroundings.

By paying close attention to your environment, you will be able to always have the upper hand against your opponents. However, some things are out of your control, as things like storms and asteroids field can happen on the battlefield, so it will take a true commander to be able to come out as the winner.

It is up to you to choose how to engage in combat, if you feel confident in your battle skills, then go ahead and face enemies head-on, or make use of your environment to strategically flank your enemies. With the new and improved graphics, Homeworld 3 will the battles feel even more realistic. The story takes place after the events of Homeworld 2, and thanks to the Hyperspace Gate Network, the galaxy was able to enjoy peace for a long time. But now the gates are failing, and Karan seems to be the key to this threat.

Play With Friends

You can now enjoy a brand new co-op mode with your friends, that will extend the gameplay beyond the main campaign. One or more commanders will take on a series of random fleet combat challenges, and winning will give you some amazing rewards. And if you want to have a PVP experience, you can also do that. Face-off against an AI or go battle against other players in either a 1v1, team battle, or free-for-all. So if you think doing the campaign is way too easy for you, why not go ahead and try your luck against other players, to see if you’re that good.

Overall

Homeworld 3 is finally coming back, and sadly there is still no set release date, but it is going to be released sometime in 2022. So if you’re into sci-fi and RTS games, be sure to check out this game. Not only does it look amazing, but its gameplay looks super fun and unique.
