So during certain holidays like Christmas and Easter, specific events will occur in the game, so you can also celebrate in the game with all the other villagers! During these events, you can earn unique items, so it’s important to keep an eye out.

You also can freely decorate your house, to make it as stylish as you want. You can buy all different types of furniture from Tom Nook, the animals in your town, or at Redds in the city. By decorating your house, the HRA in the city rates every room, and will pick one to put on display. You can also customize your clothes, and create separate images to be displayed both in the front and back.

You can also go and visit other player’s villages, and see just how different it is from yours. You can also use the Wii Speak to talk with players that also have them. But sadly, since May 2014, the game Wi-Fi connection has been terminated.
