Gas Station Simulator: Early Days

What we have here with Gas Station Simulator - Early Days is pretty much the demo version of original version. The idea here is to give you a little taste of what to expect from the main game, but it does it in a much more involved way than what you would usually get from a demo. It is very well done and a nice little prologue to the main game. I know it sounds like the kind of premise for a game that would be a bit boring, but this game is anything but!

Making The Best Of It

There is actually a story in Gas Station Simulator - Early Days. You have inherited this plot of land and on it is a run-down gas station that has certainly seen better days. You are going to try and bring the gas station back to its former glory and make a good living for yourself in the process.

Whistle While You Work

Before you can really get to bringing this gas station back to life, you have to do some clean up. Actually, cleaning is what you will be spending a fair bit of time doing in Gas Station Simulator - Early Days. You need to start throwing stuff in the skip which sounds lame, but it is actually a lot of fun as you have a scoring system for how you throw stuff in the skip. I like how all you need to start making money is getting the gas pump working, you do this and even if your place is still a dump, the money starts to roll in.

Putting Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

Once the money starts coming in, you need to decide how you are going to spend it. I would recommend that you use the money to start expanding and improving your gas station at first. This way you can handle more customers and offer them more services which in turn makes you more money. There is quite a lot to keep an eye on and thankfully customers never leave if they are waiting. However, they will leave if your place is dirty, so like I said, cleaning is a big part of what you need to do.

Making It Your Own

One thing that I am sure many people will love about Gas Station Simulator - Early Days is that you can customize your gas station just the way you want. You do this with various decorations and knick-knacks and this can be a great deal of fun. However, it is tempting to do this once the money starts coming in, but I think it is best to wait until your gas station is in at least a half decent state! There is just so much to do in this game, one of my favorite things was screwing around with the RC racing track!

Pros:

• Building your gas station from the ground up is fun
• I like how they tried to have a story
• The RC track is pretty awesome
• There is always something that you need to do in this game

Cons:

• You can get through it in just a few hours
• Dennis! If you play the game, you will know what I mean about this annoying SOB!
